A handmade copper bird bath designed to give garden birds a place to drink at ground level or on a table.
The bowl is made from hammered copper and surrounded by hand-formed verdigris leaves. The leaves are attached to a curved stem that winds around the bowl, providing a natural-looking perch where birds can stand while they drink.
Many birds, as well as insects, naturally drink at ground level, so this bird bath can be placed directly on the ground in the garden or raised onto a suitable table or surface.
Providing a reliable source of water is an important way to help garden wildlife, particularly as summers become hotter and periods of dry weather become more common.
The three legs can be carefully bent to level the bird bath on uneven ground or surfaces.
Made by hand in the UK from copper and designed to remain outdoors throughout the year. The copper bowl will naturally change colour with age, typically becoming darker. Depending on the chemistry of the rainwater, it may eventually develop areas of natural verdigris.
Note: This bird bath is made to order and the verdigris on the leaves needs to develop ahead of shipping so please allow around 2 weeks for delivery.
