Blackened Copper Pots

Hand crafted with care and traditional techniques, these elegant pots are formed from pure copper sheet that is just 0.5mm thick, making them both lightweight and durable. Each pot is meticulously hand-spun on a lathe, where the copper is shaped over a wooden mould. As part of this process, beeswax is applied to protect the copper.

During the making, an annealing process takes place, where five times, the pot is heated to over 500°C, transforming the surface into a deep, rich blackened finish. This flame treatment not only gives the pots their unique aesthetic but also improves the elasticity of the metal. Over time, the copper will continue to develop a natural patina, evolving in character and charm.

These versatile pots are perfect for both indoor and outdoor use, adding a touch of rustic elegance to any space. Blackened Copper Pots

Hand made copper pots for plants or candles. Each pot is hand spun on a lathe, coated with bee's wax and repeatedly annealed (fired) at over 500° celsius giving a unique blackened patina.

Slug Rings

Handmade pure copper slug rings can be slipped over, or clipped around, plants which you wish to protect from slugs and snails.  Copper is said to give slugs a mild 'zing' on their tummy which causes discomfort and encourages them to change direction.
