Christmas Gift Copper and Green

Unique Copper Gifts for Christmas at Copper and Green

Copper Christmas Gifts for Gardeners and Plant Lovers

If you're looking for a Christmas present for someone who enjoys gardening, plants or making their garden a little different, copper can make a useful and long-lasting gift.

I make a range of copper products for the garden and home, all made in small quantities in the UK. Most are designed to be used rather than simply displayed, although copper does have a way of looking better as it ages.

Why copper?

Copper is a durable material that works particularly well outdoors. Left untreated, it gradually darkens and can develop a green or blue-green patina as it reacts with the weather. This means that a copper object will change over time rather than simply looking the same year after year.

I use copper for many of my garden products because it is practical, easy to work with and has a character that develops naturally with age.

Christmas gifts for gardeners

Copper plant rings are a practical gift for anyone who worries about slugs and snails eating their precious plants. They are designed to sit around individual plants, providing a physical copper barrier around them.

For anyone who enjoys watching wildlife in the garden, my copper bee drinkers provide a place for bees and other pollinating insects to drink. They are designed to be filled with water and placed in the garden, with the attractive surface giving insects somewhere to land safely.

I also make a range of other copper garden products, including mushrooms, flowers and other pieces for the garden and for attracting and supporting wildlife.

Handmade in the UK

I make my copper products myself in my workshop in Berkshire, using copper sheet and tube that I cut, form and finish by hand.

Copper is also a material that can last for many years. It doesn't need to stay looking new to be useful, and I quite like the fact that the marks and changes that develop with age become part of the object.

If you're buying for someone who enjoys their garden and would rather receive something made to last than another mass-produced item, have a look through the Copper and Green Christmas collection.
